Professional Development

The OHSU Department of Science & Engineering is committed to serving the continuing professional education needs of Portland and the Pacific Northwest. DSE's academic divisions and Center for Professional Development provide a large variety of courses, training workshops, and seminars that are available to the general public without admission to a degree program.


Educational Offerings

Center for Professional Development

The Center for Professional Development provides the highest quality training and professional education for technology-intensive organizations serving the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. Our professional training includes: executive education; software programming, technologies, and processes; Six Sigma and quality; program management, project management, and product development; and communications, mentoring, and coaching. Additionally, CPD presents an extensive series of evening and luncheon seminars on both technology and business topics.

Academic Courses

Various courses taught by OHSU's Department of Science & Engineering academic divisions are available to the general public without admission to a degree program.

Seminars

DSE's academic divisions and Center for Professional Development offer a large number of scientific, technological, and business-related seminars that are open to the general public.
