Individual programs may have specific application deadlines for consideration in the first-round of application reviews. Program specific application deadlines, if any, are available here.
Following the status of your application:
The online application system allows you to follow the progress of your application as it progresses through the review process. You will be able to see what materials have been received by our admissions office and when, what materials are still outstanding and the stage your application is in. When you initially log in to complete your application you will create a personal, password protected account, which allows you to reenter your account for updates or to apply to another program. If at anytime you have questions not answered through your online application account, please contact the OGI Graduate Education admissions office .
Taking a class as a non-matriculated student:
Students are welcome to take classes at OGI without first applying to a program. A student in a non-degree status is considered a non-matriculated student. If you have taken classes before at OHSU and/or OGI and are in our system, you can simply register for the class of your choice. If you are new to OHSU/OGI we must first establish you in our system as an eligible student before you can register for your first class. To initiate this process, please complete the Non-Degree Application Form and fax that to the Graduate Education office at the fax number on the form. Please be aware, only 21 credits taken prior to matriculation into a degree program may be applied to that degree. This includes credits taken at OGI or transferred in from another school. If you intend to earn your degree at OGI, please apply prior to reaching that limit.
